Dr Karen Jenkins is a skin cancer specialist GP with a master's Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine and extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers.
Experience
Dr Jenkins has long experience in managing patients at high risk of skin cancer, including melanoma, and has worked as a skin cancer specialist in Ballina and Canberra for over 15 years.
Advanced Skills
She has advanced skills in the surgical management of more complicated skin cancers. She is widely referred by other doctors to perform more complex skin cancer surgeries on the face or surgeries requiring a graft and flap. She performs around 3-5 grafts per week.
